Directions to Spring Conference

Click here for a map of campus. Parking for General Registrants is allowed in any lots on campus besides lots 5-12 and lot 20, which is reserved for OGS Speakers, VIP, Exhibitors, and Volunteers.

Approaching from the North on I-26/US 19/US 23

  • Take Exit 25 (UNC Asheville/NC 251).
  • Turn left at traffic light at bottom of ramp.
  • Proceed approximately 0.5 miles to second traffic light; turn left onto W.T. Weaver Blvd.
  • Proceed approximately 0.3 miles to the traffic circle.
  • Take the second turn-off (University Heights) and pass between the two main entrance signs.
  • The campus is both to the right and left at intersection at the top of the hill. 
  • Registration will be in the Highsmith University Union (to the left, second building on the left)

Approaching from the East on I-40

  • Take exit 53B onto I-240 W.
  • Follow I-240 W for approximately 4.5 miles.
  • Take Exit 4A onto I-26 W/US-19 N/US-23 N/US-70 W (UNC Asheville/Weaverville).
  • Follow I-26 W for approximately 1.5 miles.
  • Take Exit 25 (UNC Asheville/NC-251).
  • Turn right at bottom of exit ramp onto Broadway.
  • Proceed approximately 0.3 miles to second traffic light; turn left onto W.T. Weaver Blvd.
  • Proceed approximately 0.3 miles to the traffic circle.
  • Take the second turn-off (University Heights) and pass between the two main entrance signs.

Approaching from the West on I-40

  • Take Exit 46B (left) onto I-240 E/I-26 W (Asheville).
  • Follow I-240 E/I-26 W for approximately 3 miles.
  • Take Exit 3B and as you cross the bridge over the river, move into the left-hand lane.
  • Take Exit 4A (left) onto I-26 W/US-19 N/US-23 N/US-70 W (UNC Asheville/Weaverville).
  • Follow I-26 W for approximately 1.5 miles.
  • Take Exit 25 (UNC Asheville/NC-251).
  • Turn right at bottom of exit ramp onto Broadway.

  • Stay on I-26 W and merge onto I-240 E (toward US-70/UNC Asheville/Asheville).
  • Follow I-240 E/I-26 W for approximately 3 miles.
  • Take Exit 3B and as you cross the bridge over the river, move into the left-hand lane.
  • Take Exit 4A (left) onto I-26 W/US-19 N/US-23 N/US-70 W (UNC Asheville/Weaverville).
  • Follow I-26 W for approximately 1.5 miles.
