Lindsay Hunter is the Development Director at Organic Growers School. She spent much of her childhood on her grandparents’ farm, surrounded by gardens, an orchard, animals, and forest—an early influence that shaped her lifelong passion for the natural world. She has called Asheville home since 2008 and holds a degree in English Literature from UNC Asheville. Lindsay has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2013 and in development since 2015. Her previous experience includes leading administration at a school situated on 54 acres of preserved land, including a working biodynamic farm. She brings a strong commitment to environmental advocacy, community building, and supporting sustainable agriculture. In addition to her work with OGS, Lindsay is a mother, wife, dog owner, hiker, and enthusiastic traveler—once completing an 81-day wilderness expedition.
