Sass Ayres

Sass Ayres is an herbalist, farmer, & small business owner with over 15 years of experience working in nearly every part of the farm-to-table & farm-to-apothecary movements. Originally from Florida, Sass fell in love with Nature by way of the ocean, and after a 7-year stint in marine biology, she found her way back onto land. She holds a BS in Environmental Studies from Macalester College, an MS in Clinical Nutrition from Bastyr University, & has extensive formal training & experience in herbalism, regenerative agriculture, farm management, & holistic landscape design. In 2020, she founded Botany Culture Co., an herbal product-based lifestyle brand rooted in fostering a connection to Nature as a vital part of true wellness. Her newest venture is Wallflower Floral Craft, a small-scale farm-based operation growing flowers, herbs, and fiber plants for edible, decorative, and functional craft. In free moments, Sass enjoys hiking, camping, & baking. She joined the OGS board in May 2025.
