Chris is the Conference & Programs Coordinator. Originally from Memphis, TN, Chris’s work in sustainable agriculture and food systems over the last decade has included small-scale vegetable production, multi-species managed intensive grazing, whole-farm management, food policy, and community food systems development. He moved to Western North Carolina in 2023 to a small homestead with his wife and four dogs. As a grower and outdoors enthusiast, he is particularly passionate about blurring the lines between cultivated and wild spaces. Outside of his work, Chris is also an avid trail runner, hunter, and musician.
